Benchmade Knives Mini Griptilian Knife 555 BLU Benchmade
The patented 'Axis Lock' is a hardened steel bar positioned accross the handle liners just behind and below the blade pivot pin. The bar is kept in contact with the blade tang by two omega shaped springs. With the blade fully open the blade tang is securely wedged in place. To unlock and close the blade, slide the axis bar away from the blade, using a thumb, while moving the blade forwards with the index finger.This can be done while holding the knife in either hand, in conveniently ambidexterous operation.
